Let's talk Iran - April 15, 2022
Yes, Iran's IRGC is a Terrorist Organization
This is how and why Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) should remain designated as a "Foreign Terrorist Organization" in the State Department's FTO list. The Biden administration should forgo any initiative to delist this terrorist organization that has killed at least 600 U.S. soldiers in Iraq alone. LINK
Lawsuit Against Biden Admin Could Stop a New Iran Nuclear Deal
Lawsuit could delay the deal's implementation and force the admin into disclosing a new deal's full terms. Republican and Democrats are concerned the admin will violate the law to push the deal.
Republican foreign policy leaders in Congress say a lawsuit could delay the deal's implementation and force the administration into disclosing the full terms of a new deal, which will provide Tehran with billions of dollars in cash revenue and remove virtually all sanctions on the hardline regime. Biden Koshers Iranian Terror
"... the creepiest creature the [Biden] administration is serving is not the delisting of the IRGC but the [Iran] nuclear deal itself."
"Preserving the Foreign Terrorist Organization designation is certainly the right thing to do, but on its own it will not arrest the abject appeasement at the heart of Biden’s policy".
“The president and his staffers were fully prepared to remove the IRGC from the terror list even with full knowledge that the organization was planning to kill former U.S. officials. Their qualms emerged only when reporters learned of the plots and refused to help the administration hide them. Even then, however, the administration sought only face-saving gestures from the IRGC. The lesson: The Biden team recognizes acts of Iranian aggression not as national security threats but only as PR challenges.” LINK
Was the Infiltration of the Secret Service Part of an Iranian Plot to Kill John Bolton?
"Yet even as the Biden administration became aware of a possible Iranian plot to kill Americans on American soil—an act of war—White House aides continued to negotiate the restoration of the Iran nuclear deal..." LINK
Consequences of Biden’s Iran deal will be dangerously worse for the world
As matters stand now, the new deal would be even worse than the original. Instead of the “stronger and longer” agreement we’d been promised, the deal now on the table is weaker and will shorten the time for Iran to become a nuclear power. Rather than prevent Iran from getting the bomb, it would pave the way for Tehran to become nuclear and empower its “sanction-free” global terroristic arm – the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. LINK
Biden and Putin Are in Business Together, Thanks to the Iran Deal
What Biden’s protectors and validators in Washington can no longer conceal is that Biden is dependent on Putin to secure his chief foreign policy goal: reentering the Iran nuclear deal from which Trump withdrew." LINK
New Iran Nuclear Deal? Same Old Missile Problems.
Biden's weaker Iran nuclear deal would also relax restrictions on ballistic missiles, a weapon the U.S. intel community assessed only months after Obama's 2015 deal was implemented as Iran’s “preferred method of delivering nuclear weapons, if it builds them.” LINK
Israeli strikes launched at targets near Damascus for 2nd time this week, Syria says
Targeted sites most likely related to Iran's IRGC. Attacks attributed to Israel in Russia-dominated airspace continue amid Putin’s Ukraine war.
Local reports said explosions were seen near the town of Masyaf in the government-controlled Hama province. Photos posted to social media showed large plumes of smoke in the area.
The Masyaf area is thought to be used as a base for Iranian forces and pro-Iranian militias and has been repeatedly targeted in recent years in attacks attributed to Israel.
The area is also home to a facility belonging to the Scientific Studies and Research Center, known as CERS, which itself has been struck several times in the past. LINK
What are the “hidden causes” of price hikes in Iran?
The real power running the country is the IRGC and Khamenei. The executive, legislative, and judiciary branches are just showcases that are meant to give Khamenei’s rule a façade of democracy. LINK

The new report details the circumstances surrounding the death in custody of 92 men and four women in 30 prisons of 18 provinces across Iran from January 2010 until the present. LINK
