Senior Israeli official: “We are not very optimistic to say the least... We will not be surprised if within weeks the U.S. and other world powers sign a deal with Iran.”

The Biden Administration's Time for Choosing On Iran
Updated definition of appeasement:
"... re-entering a faulty nuclear agreement that in 2015 granted Iran everything it wanted—namely, a patient pathway to atomic weapons and massive economic relief."
The Biden team says it seeks a "longer, stronger, broader" deal. But this is not possible unless the White House sets forth a new Iran policy that is not held hostage by the JCPOA.
Iran Expands Parchin Military Complex
Satellite images show that four new buildings have gone up at Iran’s Parchin military complex, where explosives experiments related to nuclear weapons were conducted in the early 2000s. LINK

Iran: Executions continue at alarming rate
Iran has the world’s highest number of executions per capita. According to Iran Human Rights Monitor, at least 255 persons were executed last year. Since the beginning of 2021, the regime has executed 84 people, and at least 90 juvenile offenders are on death row in Iran. LINK
Tehran court considers sentencing 5 men to amputation for robbery
An annual report by a human rights organization said eight prisoners were currently facing imminent finger amputation in Iran. According to Amnesty International, Iranian authorities have consistently defended amputation as the best way to deter theft.

Senior Saudi source denies Financial Times report of holding secret talks with Iran
The Financial Times report, citing unnamed sources said the first round of talks took place in Baghdad on April 9, which included discussions on attacks against Saudi Arabia by the Iran-backed Houthi militia. Interestingly, not only did a Saudi source deny the story, but neither the Iranian and Iraqi governments provided the FT with a comment. LINK
