Challenges facing the new President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi
Raisi was elected as the seventh president of Iran with only about ten percent of eligible voters’ participation. Currently, over 80 percent of Iranians live below the poverty line and the soaring inflation rate has damaged the economy. What Iran had never seen before have become the norm, such as children scavenging in the garbage, or people selling body organs such as kidneys or hearts. LINK
