Let's talk Iran - December 5, 2021
Failure of the Seventh Round of Iran Nuclear Talks
The regime has exploited the appeasement policy to force the Vienna talks into a defective cycle of deception and buys time for making nuclear bombs. Only a firm policy can break this cycle. LINK
Iran Nuclear Talks Head for Collapse Unless Tehran Shifts, Europeans Say
In Vienna talks, the new hard-line Iranian government has staked out positions that are incompatible with the 2015 deal, European negotiators say, adding some of Iran’s proposals are not only inconsistent with that deal but “go beyond” its provisions. The Iranian government not only wants all sanctions lifted, it also wants to preserve some of the major investment it has made since then in building advanced centrifuges and enriching uranium far beyond what the agreement permitted. Iran has started enriching uranium to 60 percent, a level that has no civilian use, experts have said. It leaves Tehran only a month or so from being able to create bomb-grade nuclear fuel. Iran is also now turning gaseous uranium into metal, an important step in making a bomb. LINK
Gantz, Mossad chief to pressure US to attack Iran - report
Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Mossad chief David Barnea will attempt to convince the US to engage in military action against Iran.

U.S. Says Chances of Rejoining Iran Nuclear Deal May Slip Away
Iran didn’t show seriousness in the latest talks to rejoin a 2015 accord restraining its nuclear program, and the U.S. is preparing for a scenario where restoring the deal won’t be possible, a senior U.S. official said Saturday. It was the most pessimistic American assessment of the negotiations yet.
Iran’s strategy appears to be to race ahead with nuclear advances to get more leverage in the talks, said the official, who asked not to be identified discussing private deliberations. That strategy will backfire and even Iranian allies such as Russia and China were disappointed by its stance. LINK
French president: Difficult to reach nuclear deal if Gulf, Israel not involved
Macron says talks with Iran should have ‘broader dynamic’ and involve regional powers whose security is directly affected by any accord. “It is difficult to reach an agreement if the Gulf states, Israel and all those whose security is directly affected are not involved.” LINK
Like Obama, Biden Silent on Iran Mullahs Killing Peaceful Protesters
"We call on President Joe Biden, Secretary Antony Blinken, and all members of Congress to stand with the Iranian people. Diplomacy with the world's leading sponsor of terrorism is never going to produce a favorable result that benefits the American people or the Iranian people. Diplomacy with the Islamic Republic was destined to fail from day one." LINK
Biden Admin Waives Sanctions on Iran as Nuclear Talks Restart
Critics accuse admin of 'delivering a dressed-up Chanukah present to the regime'
The Biden administration quietly waived sanctions on Iran to allow the hardline regime to sell electricity to Iraq, according to a non-public notification obtained by the Washington Free Beacon that was provided to Congress just as nuclear talks between the United States and Tehran resumed this week. Israel will act against Iran alone if necessary - Herzog tells US ambassador
Israel will act against Iran on its own should the international community fail to thwart Tehran's nuclear ambitions through diplomatic means, President Isaac Herzog warned the United States on Sunday.
"If the international community does not take a vigorous stance on this issue—Israel will do so. Israel will protect itself," Herzog told US Ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides during a small ceremony in which he accepted the American diplomat's credentials. LINK
Iran's bare-faced lies have finally been exposed
Tehran’s nuclear ambitions are anything but peaceful. It is time for the West to take a firm line. In an interview published on the eve of the reopening of talks in Vienna aimed at reviving the JCPOA,, Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani, who formerly headed the Iranian Atomic Energy Organisation, revealed that Iran had created a “system” to develop an atomic weapon in spite of the Supreme Leader’s fatwa. Say the Name That Frightens Iran’s Rulers
Despite decades of brutal suppression, the MEK remains unyielding in their calls for a free Iran. By speaking the name of those that gave their lives for freedom, U.S. officials can close ranks with Tehran’s democratic opposition and give hope to those on the Iranian street that the future can be brighter than the past. Innocent political prisoner Abbas Shelishat is sentenced to death
A political prisoner arrested during the November 2019 uprising has been sentenced to death. Political prisoner Abbas Shelishat has received the death sentence on the alleged charge of killing one of the regime’s agents by the name of Reza Sayyadi. Shelishat’s interrogators tortured him to extract this false confession, based on which he is now sentenced to death.
This is not the first time the clerical regime sentences a protester to death based on false confessions extracted under torture. Navid Afkari was executed through a similar procedure in Adelabad Prison of Shiraz on September 12, 2020. There were no other criminalizing documents against Navid, except his false confessions extracted under torture. LINK
A 13-year-old girl is not a child bride, says Iran’s mullah MP

The marriages of over 9000 girl children between 10 to 14 in spring 2021 show a 32% increase compared to the same period last year.
