Protesters burn state boats following fatal shooting by security forces in southern port
This is not the first time that the killing of Baluch fuel carriers sparks protests in southern Iran. Before this on February 22, protests erupted in several towns in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan after the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) gunned fuel carriers in Saravan killing and wounding dozens of people. Locals set fire to marine police boats in Kuhestak, southern Iran
Just recently Saravan and other numerous cities in neighboring Sistan & Baluchistan province were scenes of protests and clashes among locals and security forces after the IRGC opened fire on fuel traders at the Iran-Pakistan border. Over 40 civilians were left killed and several dozens injured by the regime’s forces who opened fire on their rallies. LINK

McCaul, Gottheimer Lead Bipartisan Letter Urging Stronger Restrictions and Tough Line on Iran
House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul and Congressman Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ-5) have sent a bipartisan letter to Secretary Antony Blinken, urging the administration to use its leverage to obtain a better, comprehensive deal with Iran, including IAEA access to all nuclear sites. Ceasefire plan presented to Iran-backed Houthis, says US envoy to Yemen
A sound plan for a Yemen ceasefire is now before the leadership of the Iran-backed Houthi militia, US Special Envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking said on Friday, as he warned that Yemen “will spiral into greater conflict and instability” without ceasefire progress. LINK
The only problem is that the Houthis seek neither a ceasefire or peace in Yemen.
Iran ship damaged in the Mediterranean
