Two women from southwest Iran summoned for participating in a public protest.
Two women from Behbahan were summoned to the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office on April 25, 2021. They were instructed to report to the Prosecutor within five days.
Behbahan, located in the southwestern Khuzestan Province, is one of the highly active cities during the November 2019 nationwide uprising in Iran. LINK

More than 150 former United Nations officials and renowned international human rights and legal experts wrote to UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet on Monday, calling for an international Commission of Inquiry into the 1988 massacre of thousands of political prisoners in Iran.
